Like most properties in this part of California, is in the hills and if you park on the street, you will park at an incline (see photo). Parking is in the driveway on the left side or across the street. The studio is NOT within walking distance of any restaurants or shopping (except for a small store at the end of the road) but Uber and LYFT are available if you don't have a car. It is about 5 miles from markets and restaurants. If you enjoy a morning walk or jog, then the hills will add a little extra vigor to your day. If you like to hike in the mountains, there are beautiful hiking trails close by. Stoney Point and Rocky Peak are nearby and have areas to hike and rock climb. If you take a walk up the street to the top of the street, you will usually see beautiful wild peacocks. The Village in Woodland Hills and the Commons in Calabasas (upscale outdoor shopping mall with restaurants) are close by. Porter Ranch also had many high-end restaurants with a beautiful outdoor area. Check-in is between 4:00 pm and 9:00 pm. Please message us if you plan to check in after 9 pm Check-out is anytime before 11:00 am. This studio is cozy and therefore intended primarily for a single traveler. A second guest can be accommodated for a small fee – please ensure your reservation is accurate for how many guests will be staying. We are available during your stay for most needs and we strive to make sure your stay is 5-star worthy. Please let us know if anything is needed during your stay. This home is on septic, so nothing may be flushed down the toilet other than toilet paper. Additional Rules Please use the app to check in. If you have questions or if I left something out, let me know. Please make sure you have your photo in your profile to book and that you book with the correct number of people. It is a small unit, so if there are 2 of you, please be aware of that. NO PARTIES OR EVENTS WHATSOEVER. We have a ring security camera on-site and can see if people outside your group come to the house. This will result in an IMMEDIATE cancellation of your reservation with NO refund. There are NO cameras inside the property. We run on septic. Please only flush toilet paper and NOTHING else. If the septic clogs during your stay, a fee will be assessed to have a plumber come and make repairs. (Our guests have all been good about this and we have never had to call a plumber during a stay.) The septic is sensitive and we are in a drout, so please conserve water and limit washing clothes to 2 loads a day, a few hours apart to avoid overloading the system. No smoking inside I do ask that you straighten up before you leave but I don't have any hard rules where you must do cleaning or "chores". The unit is professionally cleaned in between guests but we appreciate a respectful guest. We ask you to do your dishes before you leave but if you leave a dirty dish or coffee cup as you are leaving we understand. Check out by 11 AM Self-check-in with keypad NO PARTYING of any kind inside or on the property. Please respect the small friendly community. Noise level MUST BE MINIMAL!
